It brings me great joy and excitement to share my thoughts, aspirations, and dreams with you. The concept of ‘Education’ encompasses more than just knowledge; it is a harmonious fusion of academia, arts, sports, emotions, attitudes, creativity, nature, and life itself. In the world we’ve crafted today, success belongs to those who excel in all these realms.
I firmly believe that our focus should be on shaping students into good humans rather than merely aiming for academic success. Barishal School and College (BGSC), guided by this philosophy, embarked on its academic journey in 2019 with only 125 students. Through the tireless efforts of our staff and unwavering support from parents, this humble beginning transformed into a formidable institution that reached the pinnacle of success.
Our strength emanates from our exceptional student body, embodying our ideals. While we have achieved much to be proud of, these accomplishments are stepping stones toward a greater goal. Our primary objective is to provide value-based education with high moral standards to a broad section of society, especially in underserved and rural areas.
BGSC not only excels in academics but also leads in nurturing the all-round development of children. Our commitment to excellent infrastructure, a conducive learning environment, and the development of various skills from a young age sets us apart.
I’ve always believed that “Excellence is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere efforts, intelligent direction, and skillful execution.” These words aptly describe the current state of BGSC.
I trust that this almanac will serve as an effective means of communication between the school and guardians. Achieving our goals and objectives requires your cooperation, and I extend my sincere thanks to parents, teachers, and students for their invaluable support in the success of the school.
I offer my blessings to the BGSC staff, students, parents, and all associated with this institution. I pray to Allah that, in His divine benevolence, BGSC continues to be a guiding light for generations to come.
